Saarbrücken, Germany, where I studied Computer Science and Communications Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Saarland.
I graduated with a B.Sc. after completing my dissertation at Dillinger steel industries. I then worked as a Software Engineer at psb intralogistics, where I developed software interfaces for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) in order to control material flow and storage. My job also involved a lot of travelling in order to run tests at the customer's headquaters.
After 2 years in industry, I decided to move to my mother's home country, Scotland, where I completed my M.Sc. in Software Engineering at Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh. After I graduated, I carried out research in High Performance Computing for Deep Learning algorithms at Heriot-Watt.
In my free time I like to go out and do landscape photography. I enjoy doing sports such as running, swimming, and cycling. I love cooking, watching films and hanging out with friends.
I always enjoy looking into new technologies, coding my own projects and playing around with electronics and computer hardware, such as my Raspberry Pi for example.
